Atlantic harvesters travel by dory to remote shoreline locations to select and hand-pick this fresh, wet DULSE. Quality DULSE can only be picked at low tides during a few days each summer month. It is then dried naturally, on beach rocks, by sea breezes under the summer sun. The packers grade, package and seal the product in biodegradable packaging to preserve freshness.
Dulse should be stored in a dry, dark place or kept in the freezer.
