In the early 1930s Ganong introduced a special box of assorted chocolates. The chocolates were Ganong’s Best (G.B.) … a delicious mixture of soft and hard centres. The large box (1.65 kg) of G.B. chocolates quickly gained a reputation for quality and value, and to this day, is a part of many Canadian family holiday traditions. Famous for the bright red seasonal packaging, it became known as Red Wrap Chocolates.
