In the early 1930s Ganong introduced a special box of assorted chocolates. The chocolates were Ganong’s Best (G.B.) … a delicious mixture of soft and hard centres. The large box (1.65 kg) of G.B. chocolates quickly gained a reputation for quality and value, and to this day, is part of many Canadian family Holiday traditions. Famous for the bright red seasonal packaging, it became known as Red Wrap Chocolates.
